The Spanish Community Center-Shore AHEC will be hosting their 1st Annual Bringing Hope Black Tie Masquerade Ball on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 7 to 11 p.m. This affair will be taking place at the Golden Nugget located at 1 Castle Road in Atlantic City. The event cost is $150.00 per person and it includes a complimentary premium cocktail hour, sit down dinner, awards ceremony and live entertainment.

Spanish Community Center ? Shore AHEC is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. In Fiscal Year 2014, the Spanish Community Center ? Shore AHEC assisted over 1,500 families from Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem counties. SCC provides services that improves the quality of life of the low income population in South Jersey. Today, over 44 years later, SCC has fourteen unduplicated programs available to families, children/youth and/or adults who meet the criteria for services. Programs include, but are not limited to: a Multi-service Program, an HIV/AIDS Prevention/Supportive Services Program, Employment Assistance Program, Emergency Food Distribution and weekly bread and vegetable distribution, a Family Preservation Program, Home Intervention Program providing community free clothing closet, family counseling services, a Children?s Summer Feeding Program, Summer Camp for Children with Special Needs and a Shore AHEC (Area Health Education Center) that provides general health and vision screening free to the public, and, a Senior Citizens Information and Referral Case Management program.
